GHRD officially was founded after the “The Hague 2003 International Conference on Human Rights”. The project supported by the MvRF is a project to provide education for Dalit children in India. Dalit are the people without a caste in India and as a result of this face poverty, social exclusion and discrimination. Children often do not go to school en need to do child labour to provide for their families. The children selected for the program are screened by their family. To fill up for the loss of income they will do perform light labour. The children will also receive medical attention and will be watched by the local partner of the organisation.
