International Child Support is a Dutch NGO working in Asia and Africa. In Africa they are working in Eastern Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. The project that the is co financed by the MvRF is focused on improving primary education in Western Kenya. The project will be executed in collaboration with an existing school. The problems at this school were primarily related to a poor learning environment. E.g a lack of materials, classrooms and teachers form a major problem at this school and affect the level of education The MvRF contributes to the construction of a classroom at this school.
Besides the construction of the school, International Child Support will focus on health problems at the school, child protection and livelihood improvement by introducing income generating activities.
