The goal of this project, started by Happy Gunjur, is to renovate a
primary school in Gambia. This school offers education to 1250 students.
During the last rainy reason one of the buildings collapsed. Happy
Gunjur wants to rebuild this building using sustainable materials and
under supervision of a Dutch non-profit construction organization. They
will hire local people to build the school and at the same time train
these people to become carpenter, brick layer etc. The MvRF contributed
to the total cost of the project.
