The Dutch NGO child en assistance dog was founded by Martine Stadman. When Martine was started to look for an assistance dog herself she found out how difficult it is to get one. The insurance companies in the Netherlands do not cover the cost of an assistance dog for children. Indy, Martine’s dog has had a very positive impact on her life and she decided she wanted to help other children in the same position. In order to achieve this she started an organisation to help children and young people like herself with an assistance dog. The MvRF financed the cost of one dog.
