After ZAP had built their extensive school buildings for 429 children, in 2014, they immediately wanted to continue the project by building housing for teachers. Being a government school, the government covers teacher’s salaries. In order to attract the best teachers, it is important for the school to offer the additional benefit of housing for the teachers. The Marthe van Rijswijck Foundation contributed financially to the building of the new houses.
ZAP hoops to eventually build a complete primary and secondary school. It would be the first for KainuChiefdom in Zambia.
