Improving the living standards of disabled youth in Morocco

The Dutch NGO Al-Amal wants to improve the living standards of disabled youth in the provinces Taza, Nador and Al Houceima in Morocco. They are trying to achieve this goal by collecting and renovating wheelchairs and other items that can help disabled people. The provisions for disabled people in this area in Morocco are very limited, so people rely largely on their family for support. The aim of the project is to give disabled people more independence.

The materials will be renovated by Dutch and Moroccan youth. This is done to achieve the second goal of the project, which is to improve integration and create a better understanding between these two youth groups.

The materials have been delivered to Morocco and brought to the children in need.
