The aim of the Dutch NGO Bantan Woro is to build and furnish a vocational training centre in Abéné, South Senegal. There is a shortage of technical schools in the country even though there is a high demand. The goal of this centre is to attract youth that do not have the opportunity, or do not want to, continue with higher education. Without any other form of education these children often end up on the streets or in criminal circuits.
