‘Every child has a right to a safe roof over their head and a fair chance to develop themselves’ – that’s what Colour4kids stands for.
Colour4kids was founded in the summer of 2000, with the mission to bring colour to the lives of less fortunate children from developing countries and without concern for political, religious or social background.
They do this by building children’s homes, day centres and schools that can offer children a brighter future. In their projects, colour takes on an important role. They like to paint walls with extravagant murals, to inspire and brighten the environment of the children.
Colour4kids is a very small organisation based on volunteers. The Marthe van Rijswijck Foundation is proud to have funded several projects run by Colour4kids, from Romania to Peru.
