In 2018, Connected to Nambia Foundation built a new boys’ hostel. The hostel was built for boys who needed to attend school but lived too far away to travel every day. The new hostel has 64 beds. The hostel now consists of three buildings; the boys’ hostel, a girls’ hostel and a shared kitchen and dining area. The hostels are under supervision of the school and parents can contribute financially or by helping at the hostel with chores and services in exchange for their children’s accommodation. Because of the new accommodation options 64 boys and 64 girls are now able to attend school without having to travel large distances.
