Construction of dormitories – 2012

The aim of this Rigdzin project was to offer their students

the possibility of staying over at school. Many of the children come

from nomad families and often the distance to their families is too big

to walk every day. Until now, the organisation solved the problem by

using canvas tents but this is too cold during winter months. The Marthe van Rijswijck Foundation is contributing to the building of one of the brick houses being built to accommodate students. One house will accommodate 10 students, offering them a better chance at completing their education.
