Élimu Mount Elgon || Construction of a kitchen and assembly hal

The Dutch NGO Élimu Mount Elgon aim is to improve the conditions at a Kenyan school carrying the same name. At the Mount Elgon Campus they don’t have a kitchen at the moment. They are cooking outside on fires, this is very time consuming and not very convenient. Another problem is that the children have nowhere to sit during meal times. This is also a problem during exam periods when the children need to be spread out according to Kenyan law. In order to solve these problems the NGO wants to build a kitchen and assembly hall. The MvRF contributed to the cost of both.
