Setting up a library

NGO E-progress is currently, in collaboration with a local partner Echo Bravo!, setting up 6 libraries in refugees camps in Northern Uganda. The first camp will be set up in Pagak and is a pilot project. The library will consist of a books depot for schools, where books can be borrowed by schools for learning purposes and there will also be a “fun”library where children can read books in the library and play games. A child friendly spaces concept, developed by War Child will be used by the building of the libraries. In every library a specially trained local teacher will be working. The MvRF contributed to the start of the pilot project.
