The aim of this project is to build a primary school in the village of Berending, Gambia, the Pallum Lower Basis school. The Dutch NGO Gambia team NL has been active in this village since 2007 and has completed several projects under which a day care. By now 150 children attend this day care and it is starting to reach its capacity. Besides this there is also a high demand for primary education in the village and together with the village it was decided to start with the construction of a primary school.
The MvRF has contributed to the construction of the school.
