Sewing workshop for orphaned girls

During the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, 900.000 people were killed in a few weeks. Because of this there are many orphans in Rwanda, almost every family has taken in one or more orphans. Also, many girls did not have the chance to go to school because of the war. Some of them only went to primary school and cannot find a job because of this. This makes it impossible for them to earn a decent income. The Dutch NGO Mama Hoop wants to start a sewing workshop for 10 girls so that they can start generating their own income. The MvRF financed the cost of the machines.
