The Dutch NGO Mesics has been cooperating for more than 10 years with the sisters of Nazareth of the Diocese of Meru, Kenya. They work on project on health care, micro finance for women’s groups, sanitation and education. The requested the MvRF to take on the support of 26 students for one year. After this year Mesics guaranteed that they will take over the cost to ensure that the students can graduate. Secondary school scholarships are desperately needed in Kenya because there is no support from the government.
