The MVRF contributed to the renovation and expansion of 2 informal schools in Uttar Pradesh. Informal schools are often started by the communities themselves and do not receive subsidies from the government. These two schools have far more students than they can handle and because of this many of the classes are taught outside. With the expansion and renovation of the schools they want to increase the level of education at the schools. Besides this, they also want to make it more attractive for girls to go to school.
