Building a school in Farakoren, Northern Kenya

With this project Ayuda en todas partes focuses again on education and on the neglected area of the Samburu tribe in Northern Kenya. A school will be build in Farakoren, Northern Kenya. In this area Ayuda en Todas Partes has build several schools. The communitieswhere they are active are in a area with 14.000 inhabitants of which 50 % is child. Almost 80 % of these children does not have the opportunity to go to school. The few schools that are present in the area are overcrowded or too far away. During a meeting with the counselor, chief, elders and parents there was discussed what the community needed most, this was a primary school. The building of this school will again be assisted by a group of Dutch volunteers.
