Malaria is still a major health risk for the people of Africa and Kenya is no exception. Vaccinating against this disease is not possible.
The most effective way to limit infection risk is by using impregnated mosquito nets. In the same community where the school will be build by Ayuda en Todas Partes, Farakoren in Northern Kenya Ayuda en Todas Partes will also distribute mosquito nets to all households with a child under 5. The local people will be educated about the use mosquito nets. A few women of the village will be trained in giving these educating sessions. They will also monitor the use of the mosquito nets in the village.
