The Dutch NGO Niketan wants to move the vocational classes from their day care centre to the care farm they started in 2008. They want to do this in order to make sure that all the activities take place on one location. The MvRF contributed in 2008 to the start of the orchids nursery and vegetable garden at the care farm.

Since 2004 the youth can follow vocational classes at the day care centre. The vocational classes are accustomed to the needs of the handicapped youth. The receive, for example, extra care and support. The vocational centre will initiate and improve the position of the handicapped youth in the local community. It will ensure that the youth learn a profession which will give them the opportunity to live independently from their parents. Besides this, the project   will also be beneficiary for the local economy, jobs will be created and more products will become available on the market.
