The goal of this project set up by Rupingh and its local partner is to renovate the Lungar school in the village, Mesir on Flores. This is a remote village in the highlands between Ruteng and Bajawa. The school has been there since the 1980’s and is completely run down. At the moment 285 children attend the school and they expect the number to grow since the area is still constantly expanding. The school in its current state will not be able to handle any more students. Rupingh and its partner want to renovate and expand the school so that they are ready to handle the extra students and provide them with quality education.
