Free a girl is a humanitarian aid organisation working to rescue young girls from forced prostitution and to see the criminal networks behind forced prostitution prosecuted. The foundation focuses on freeing underage girls who have been forced into prostitution. Additionally, Free a Girl works to rehabilitate and reintegrate the victims so they can move on to a better future.

In order to accomplish this, Free a Girl supports local organisations to maximise the benefits of their work. They support 15 partner organisations in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Brazil and the Netherlands. They also maintain ties to the police and justice institutions to cooperate in the arrest and prosecution of human trafficking rings.

Over the past 7 years they have contributed to the freeing of 3,735 girls from brothels in Asia.
