The Tibetan Childrens home gives shelter to children that fled Tibet. The children are sent by their parents over the Himalayas hoping that they can find a better life in India. The Dalai Lama founded the Tibetan Homes Foundation in 1962. At this moment it shelters almost 2400 children. Every child receives a blanket but they are very old and worn out. The MvRF has donated money for 3.000 new blankets.
