The NGO Vilcabamba started an education centre in Cusco, Peru. Because of a low education level, insufficient basic knowledge and skills, usually caused by lack of financial means for an education, it is very difficult for deprived youth and adults to find a job. The goal of the education centre is to give these young people from the age of 16 the opportunity to follow practical courses to make it easier for them to find a job or start their own small company. Courses for example are: hairdresser, cooking, bakery courses amongst others. The MvRF contributed to the start up cost for the project.
