In 2018, the Marthe van Rijswijck Foundation contributed to the 2BaB Foundation’s Jinack Basic Cycle & Senior Secondary School Project. This project provided the school, that is located on the Jinack Island in The Gambia, with new furniture and new teaching materials which meant that all 550 children could receive the necessary books and materials. Furthermore, the foundation provided the school with new cupboards and tables, sporting goods and materials for the school garden. The budget was also used to repair and replace electrics and light installations in the teachers’ houses.
