Child Haven International || building a small nursery school

Child Haven International is a small International NGO founded in Canada in 1985 by Bonnie and Fred Cappuchino. After their 21 children, of which 19 were adopted from 11 different countries, were all grown up Fred and Bonnie decided to start an NGO with as a main goal, taking care of orphans in their own culture according to the guide lines of Ghandi’s philosophy. At this moment they have founded 9 different orphanages in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet.
The MvRF has contributed to the founding of a small nursery school at the orphanage of Kaliympoondi. In India there is no structured system for nursery schools before the age of 5. The school will mainly be used by children from poor families who have no opportunity to send their children to nursery school and would otherwise be playing in the street.
